Located less than 25 miles north of the city of Charlotte, Lake Norman is North Carolina’s largest man-made lake, earning its nickname of the “inland sea”. The lake features an incredible 520 miles of shoreline and endless opportunities to explore and play. We might even call it the best recreational facility in North Carolina… but we’ll leave that up to you to decide once our experienced captains show you around! Even if there are no boat slips available during popular times, our captains can drop you off, anchor nearby, and return once you’re finished so you don’t have to wait for a boat spot! North Harbor Club, The Cabin Lakefront Pub, Lake Norman Wine Cottage – These three uniquely diverse options are in the same cove approximately a 45 minute boat ride away from our marina.

Eddies On Lake Norman, Havana 33 – Neighboring restaurants about 50 minutes away from our marina via boat ride. Please note that docks aren’t available at these locations so access requires beaching which may be more difficult for some passengers.

Blue Parrot Grill, Toucan’s Lakefront, Apps & Taps – Near the River Highway, NC Highway 150 bridge, these three Lake Norman waterfront restaurant favorites on the north end of Lake Norman in Mooresville. Approximately a one-hour boat ride each direction.

Waterside Bar And Grill – The northernmost restaurant on Lake Norman, Waterside Bar and Grill has recently been renovated and is approximately an hour and a half hour boat ride each way.
There’s also plenty of things to do around the lake. Lake Norman comprises several charming towns with both lakefront and inland opportunities to explore. If you like getting out into nature, there are plenty of local hikes for you to enjoy. Looking for an entertaining night out? Check out some of the best breweries and bottle shops in the area.
